MD S + W Festival '10

Through a very wonderful friend - who also happens to be an indie dyer - I will be at this year's Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival at the Cloverhill Booth!

So in a great effort/push to get my project bags done, I enlisted my mother and sister to help me make tags as well as sew and assemble! I can't thank them enough for all their helpfulness and understanding. My procrastination didn't help the situation! Oops... :(

But! On a happier note, here are a few photos...

Up up and away...

...they go! My project bags were handed off to Shelby for a trip to SAFF.

I'll show you mine...

One step at a time...

The 2 buttons production team has finished punching, cutting, gluing, and assembling 100+ business cards/item tags in anticipation of our first outing: SAFF - the Southeastern Animal Fiber Festival in Asheville, North Carolina! Now, if I could only motivate myself to put the finishing touches on the last batch of project bags... hmmm....

My wonderful friend generously offered to take some of my project bags with her to the Festival. I, unfortunately, will not be going but she will be there armed with about 330 skeins of ShelbyB yarn along with approximately 25 of my 2 buttons project bags.

I'm super-excited for her and can't wait to hear of the wonderful fiber-yarn adventures... :o)

In the beginning...

...there was a girl. And she enjoyed a good craft now and then.
